According to the Santa Clara County Planning Commission, the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the proposed Sargent Quarry Project is slated to be released at the end of October or the beginning of November, at which time a very important public comment period will commence. In the meantime, here are a couple of upcoming events at which you can learn more and connect with tribal members and supporters. We continue to work collaboratively with Santa Clara County organizations and volunteers to prepare for next steps and grow the list of organizations, churches/faith leaders and other groups that oppose the proposed mining project at Juristac.
